All HSC Members make a contribution to the Cooperative each month. This can be in any of the 8 forms of captial. If you choose to have your contribution be fully or in part in the form of financial capital, you can pay a monthly membership deposit on a sliding scale rate of $15-$25 / month. We call this a “deposit” rather than a fee, because it is a deposit into our collective value bank, aka, our common pool of resources.

This monthly deposit is not required in order to participate, it is voluntary. We will never allow lack of financial funds be a barrier to becoming a member.

This deposit goes to pay expenses and then gets channeled back to members via payment for operational roles and to seed the voucher pool to which allows those with contribution tokens to receive goods and services. These deposits also allow members to withdraw partial funds for their voucher additions.
